Make your move
and capture some fun this summer with chess! This camp is designed
to teach and improve your game of chess with a strong foundation
of the game's fundamentals. Instruction includes various checkmates,
draws and stalemates, tactics, the end game, and opening development
of pieces. Camp instructors include Senior Master William “The
Exterminator” Morrison, Arkadi Frankel, and Cockeysville Middle
School Chess coach, Glenn Segal.

LTRC Chess Club:
For
beginner and experienced players in grades 6th-8th. Meets Thursdays
after school, from 2:45-3:45, from Sept. to Spring 2007. Instruction,
play and interschool tournament competitions. Contact Deborah Buffalin,

Cockeysville
LTRC Chess Club:
Play
Chess at Lutherville Laboratory (Elementary) after school on Thursdays.
Limited registration, older grades only. Includes chess instruction
and playing in tournaments with other schools. Contact Deborah Baker
