Renovations have been completed on the Seminary Park Upper Field
and we have been advised it will be available for 2008 Spring Play.
Organizational
plans are being made for the 2008 Slow Pitch Softball season. We
plan to use the Seminary Park Upper Field as our home field. The
Coed League will continue on Tuesdays and Men’s leagues will
be organized on the remaining weeknights.
Below you will find a team registration form, which must be completed
and returned to league chairperson, Tom Harrington at
the address listed below no later than March 9, 2008.for returning
teams to retain their spot. If you cannot participate this year, please
advise Tom Harrington so arrangements can be made to secure teams to
fill the league. Also due at that time is a check for the entire
league fee of $400.00. Because of the renovation
assessment an additional fee of $75.00 per team will
be collected for two seasons, 2008 and 2009. The total fees due
are $475.00.

No
team will be admitted to the league until ALL fees are paid.
The
league fees cover softballs, bases, field maintenance, ASA franchise
fees, league equipment and awards.
Each league
will be limited to 6 teams. After March 9th new teams will be entered
into their league upon receipt of league fees on a first come, first
served basis. I
will communicate primarily by Email, so I need an email contact for
your team. If you don’t have an e-mail address , please try to
pick an assistant on the team with an e-mail address to facilitate
communication.
Umpire fees are to be paid
before each doubleheader. $ 14.00 per team/per game Men’s
3-Pitch $14.00 per team/per game Co-Ed
League rules
are available on request and will be distributed at the league meeting. Time
limits will keep us at 6 innings, 3 pitch format games. League
rules will be strictly enforced.
The league
meeting will be held at Ridge Ruxton Elementary School, 6916 N. Charles
St., Towson on Monday, April 28th. Important
information, including league finances, forfeit policy, rules, umpires,
and league awards will be discussed at this meeting. It is mandatory that
you have a representative at this meeting. The meeting will begin
at 7:00pm for
all programs.
The projected
starting date for leagues to begin is mid May 2008. . If you have any
