Who: This summer program is for students transitioning from 7th Grade GT Alg I
to 8th grade GT Alg II.What: During this readiness program, participants will revisit important algebra I objectives to be sure that they can hit the ground running when they begin GT Algebra II in the 8th grade! Throughout the week we will review graphing linear and non-linear equations, finding the line of best fit, solving systems of equations, solving systems of inequalities, operations with matrices, operations with polynomials and factoring. We will also preview some of the most difficult objectives taught in the first and second quarter of GT Algebra II such as solving systems of three equations, multiplying matrices, linear programming, division of polynomials, complex numbers and more! Instructor, Gina Kline, has been a math teacher for Baltimore County Schools for the past 18 years. This is the 3nd year for this camp.
When & Where: August 12 – 16, 2013 From 9:00am –
11:30am at Ridgely Middle SchoolRegistration Cost: $100.00 per student
Please Note: Students can bring a snack and/or a drink. Students will need a spiral notebook or folder with loose leaf paper, pencils & pens. A minimum of 10 participants will be required to run the camp.

CAMP S.M.A.R.T.
Summer Reading and Math Teams. Now in its 7th year!
July 22-26, 2013
For students currently in kindergarten - 5th grade
Camp S.M.A.R.T.-Reading will help students prepare for school by reviewing phonics, comprehension, fluency, and written language skills through the use of hands-on, multisensory activities .Camp SMART- Math 9:00-11:45
July 29 - Aug 2, 2013
For students currently in kindergarten - 5th grade
Camp S.M.A.R.T.-Math will help students prepare for school by reviewing addition, and subtraction concepts with and without regrouping, money, measurement and some geometry.Registration fee: $130 per session.
Register for both sessions and save $25. Both sessions-$235All sessions will be held in Lutherville Lab’s air conditioned learning cottages. Teachers using interactive white boards! A daily snack and water is provided.

LUTHERVILLE LAB'S SPORTS & FITNESS CAMP
Get moving and have some fun this summer with Lutherville Lab’s Sports & Fitness Camp! This camp is designed to teach and improve fitness skills and principles, sport skills, and provide an opportunity to enjoy recreational activities. Mr. Bruns, Lutherville’s PE teacher will be hosting three summer camps in July.Session 1:
July 1, 2, 3 and 5; 9am-11:45 am for students entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th gradesSession 2:
July 8-12; 9am-11:45 am for students entering the 4th, 5th and 6th gradesSession 3:
July 15-19; 9 am-11:45 amfor students entering the 1st, 2nd ,and 3rd grades
All sessions are held at Lutherville Lab Elementary School

SOCCER SOURCE 360 (Summer Soccer Camp)
July 22-26. 9am - 4pm; 9am-12 noon; or 1pm-4pm
Soccer Source 360 has over twenty years of summer camp experience. Each SS360 coach holds a coaching license, has experience playing the game at a high level, and works with youth players throughout the year. Proven ‘Best Chance to Improve Curriculum’ posted on our website. Camp Director, John Dingle, holds a USSF ‘B’ and ‘Youth’ license’, published author on soccer coaching, and is a member of MSYSA’s coaching education staff.Plenty of ‘time on task’. Use of ‘Rapid Training Techniques.’

TIMONIUMS ACTION SPORTS AND BOOT CAMP
Children entering 3, 4 and 5 grades (limited to 35 children)
July 22-26. Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm
Mr. Katz in association with the LTRC will be holding a fun and exciting week long summer camp for children entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Children will participate in a variety of outdoor activities, classic games and sports, as well as improve their overall fitness through fun circuit training/boot camp activities.Cost $115 for the week; Timonium Elemtary or Ridgely Middle School (depends on availability of the fileds)
- Please send Registration Form (on top of the form please write the grade your child will be entering) and Check to Mr. Katz at Timonium Elementary NO LATER than Friday, June 14th 2013
- Checks must be payable to “LTRC”
- Registration Form can be found at bottom of LTRC website
- Snacks and drinks will be provided daily
- All participants will receive a Timonium Action Sports and Boot Camp T-shirt
