CAMP S.M.A.R.T.
Camp SMART - Reading 9:00-11:45 July 19-23, 2010
Summer Reading and Math Teams. Now in its 4th year!
For students currently in kindergarten - 3rd grade
Camp S.M.A.R.T.-Reading will help students prepare for school by reviewing phonics, comprehension, fluency, and written language skills through the use of hands-on, multisensory activities .Camp S.M.A.R.T.- Math 9:00-11:45 July 26-30, 2010
For students currently in kindergarten - 3rd grade
Camp S.M.A.R.T.-Math will help students prepare for school by reviewing addition, and subtraction concepts with and without regrouping, money, measurement and some geometry.All sessions will be held in Lutherville Lab’s air conditioned learning cottages. Come and enjoy working with Lutherville teachers this summer!
Register for both sessions and save $20.

LIBRARY ADVENTURES CAMP AT PINEWOOD ELEMENTARY
For students in grades 1-5. The Summer Library Adventures camp will feature a story time, literature based activities, and a research program for the older students culminating with the production of a Power Point or a Photostory. Theme based snacks will be served during each camp session. This year the theme will be an African Safari for the Monday through Thursday camps. The Friday camp sessions will feature famous wildlife authors. The person that will run the camp with me this year will be Miss Kristen Lockwood who recently returned from living in Africa for two years!

LUTHERVILLE LAB'S SPORTS & FITNESS CAMP
Get moving and have some fun this summer with Lutherville Lab’s Sports & Fitness Camp! This camp is designed to teach and improve fitness skills and principles, sport skills, and provide an opportunity to enjoy recreational activities. Mr. Bruns, Lutherville’s PE teacher will be hosting three camps in this summer. There will be three programs available for students from any school.Session 1:
9am-11:45 am June 28-July 2 for students entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th gradesSession 2:
9am-11:45 am July 12 – 16 for students entering the 4th, 5th and 6th gradesSession 3:
9 am-11:45 am July 19-23 for students entering the 1st, 2nd ,and 3rd grades
All sessions are held at Lutherville Lab Elementary School

SUMMER COOKING CLUB
Prepare snacks and enhance all areas of the BCPS curriculum while having fun. Girls & Boys ages 6-9. Monday – Friday
*Each Session will cover different recipes including appetizers, main courses & desserts. Sign up for one, two or all three!
SUMMER TIME FUN DROP-IN PROGRAM
Lutherville Timonium Recreation Council is offering a Summer Time Fun Drop In Program. Activities include: Martial Arts activities, arts & crafts, special demonstrations, various recreation activities, & supervised play.WHO: Boys & Girls who have completed Kindergarten through 5th Grade
WHEN: Tuesdays & Thursdays for children who have completed Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Mondays & Wednesdays for children who have completed grades 3-5
Starting June 28th and ending July 30th from 9:00 am- 11:30amLOCATION: Lutherville Lab Elementary
COST: $65.00 for the Session per child
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. We will need a minimum of 20 children to run the program and have a limit of 50 participants.
Registration will take place via e-mail beginning at 10:00 A.M. on 5/18/10.
When registration opens, please e-mail the following information to office@ltrc.org. No one will be permitted to register early.
